Nils Quak - Mix

German based ambient artist Nils Quak has been creating electronic soundscapes in various forms since 2003. He first came to my attention with his Rural Colours EP 'On Sinking' prompting me to delve into his discography to find, of course, numerous treasures on labels such as Distance Recordings, Progressive Form, Audiobulb, TonAtom and more.

His most recent album 'Elegy for Seaweed' (which we reviewed a little earlier this year) was released in beautifully crafted packaging on Portland based label Clothbound Recordings.
